InternCanada.ca provides an online platform that facilitates connections between:

– Job Seekers: Students and recent graduates looking for internship opportunities in Canada.
– Employers: Companies and organizations seeking to offer internships to emerging talent.

Our mission is to bridge the gap between fresh talent and organizations, fostering growth and development for both parties.

2. User Eligibility

Job Seekers

– Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
– Status: Should be a current student or have graduated within the last two years.
– Residency: Open to Canadian residents or those legally permitted to work in Canada.
– Accurate Information: Must provide truthful and accurate personal and professional information.

Employers

– Legitimate Business: Must be a legally registered company or organization in Canada.
– Compliance: Agree to comply with all Canadian labor laws, including fair compensation practices.
– Safe Environment: Commit to providing a respectful, non-discriminatory, and safe workplace for interns.

3. Content Guidelines

We are committed to maintaining a respectful and trustworthy platform. All users must adhere to the following guidelines.

 For Job Seekers

– Honesty: Provide accurate information about your education, skills, and experience.
– Professional Conduct: Interact respectfully with employers and other users.
– Prohibited Actions: 1. Misrepresenting qualifications or submitting false documents. 2. Applying for positions without genuine interest. 3. InternCanada team has the discretion to remove users for actions that are deemed malicious.

Example: Claiming proficiency in a software you have never used is considered a false claim and is prohibited.

For Employers

– Transparency: Clearly outline internship duties, expectations, and compensation.
– Fair Practices: Internships should offer meaningful learning experiences relevant to the intern’s field of study.
– Prohibited Actions: 1. Posting misleading job descriptions.  2. Exploiting interns for unpaid labor without educational value. 3. InternCanada team has discretion to remove users for actions that are deemed malicious.

Example: Offering an “internship” that involves only personal errands for staff does not provide educational value and is not allowed.

General Prohibitions

– Harassment and Discrimination: Any form of harassment, hate speech, or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, or other protected characteristics is strictly prohibited.
– Inappropriate Content: Do not post content that is offensive, obscene, or violates any laws.
– Spam and Fraud: Avoid posting unsolicited advertisements or fraudulent content.

4. Privacy Policy
