Job Title: Supply Chain Co-op
Reporting directly to the Procurement Lead and the Contracts Lead, the Supply Chain Co-op will play a key supporting role in the day-to-day operations of the Contracts and Procurement functions. This position is primarily administrative in nature and ideal for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to process improvement.
The successful candidate will assist with organizing digital systems (including SharePoint and ERP Contracts module), help with mass data uploads, maintain supplier and contract records, support invoice tracking, and contribute to communications with suppliers.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Maintain and organize the Contracts and Procurement SharePoint platform, ensuring documents are stored correctly and consistently.

Support mass uploads of contract data into the ERP system (Pronto), ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Link contracts to purchase orders within the ERP system and help maintain the supplier master data list.

Assist with financial tasks such as reviewing invoices against purchase orders and coordinating credit applications.

Support communications to suppliers, particularly related to new entity setup and documentation requirements.

Help maintain and update the contracts register.

Track and collect insurance certificates in accordance with contract requirements.

File and categorize documents in both SharePoint and ERP platforms appropriately.

Provide general administrative support to the Procurement and Contracts teams as required.

The Ideal Candidate
Education / Qualifications:
-
Currently enrolled in a business administration, commerce, or supply chain-related diploma or degree program.

Eligible to participate in a recognized co-op program.
Experience / Skills
- Mining experience would be an asset
- Detail oriented with excessive attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exhibits a high degree of responsibility for confidential matters
- Effective team player who can jump in wherever is needed
- Strong interpersonal and reasoning skills, with proven problem-solving abilities
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as with others
Work Location & Conditions
This is an office-based job, in Skeena’s Corporate office located in Vancouver, British Columbia on a Monday to Friday schedule. Additionally, the job is in a fast paced working environment, with having to manage multiple competing priorities. Some flexibility in work location may be considered. The contract will be for 8 months beginning in May.
Compensation
The expected hourly range for this position is CAD $20-$25 in line with the competitive job market for such roles carried out in British Columbia. Salary ranges are guidelines and any job offer received by a candidate will be determined on a number of factors such as relevant education, training, and/or experience.
