Summer Intern, Network Technician

• Oversees the validation of Cormant-CS records
• Maintains Cormant-CS database by updating Move, Adds, Changes, Deletions
• Review labeling of new items to ensure compliance with labeling standards
• Review cabling drawings, space management and planning
• Compare proposed work against existing Standards, identifying and reporting gaps
• Install, troubleshoot and repair hardware components

Safety

• Checks the technical condition of the equipment prior operation
• In the event of accident informs immediately according to Company procedure
• Follows Company procedures to ensure safe environment, personal safety and safety of others

Communication

• Provide bi-monthly progress reports

Work requires:

• Analytical reasoning to choose the most appropriate course of action from among a variety of possible steps, processes and solutions within limits defined by standard or accepted practice.
• Manipulating CSV files
• Database management
• Reading cable, construction, electrical and architectural drawings
• Hands-on cabling, troubleshooting experience
