You will work on water and wastewater infrastructure projects, the original sustainable projects.Our projects include everything water and wastewater related, water storage, pumping facilities, treatment facilities, equipment storage buildings, administration, and laboratory buildings too. We are part of a larger team that provides full multidiscipline support for each project.Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in structural design and prepare drawings and specifications
- Assist in the determination of construction costs and quantities, and carry out studies and technical reports
- Conduct field work including investigations/inspections for the design, retrofit, remediation and construction of structures
- Participate in the review of progress and compliance of construction work in accordance with tender documents
Qualifications
- Student presently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- Candidates with previous structural engineering Internship or Co-op experience (asset)
- Student completed concrete and steel design classes (asset)
- Valid unrestricted driver’s license
- Access to a vehicle
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Ability to apply technical knowledge to various practical problems
- A desire to learn and continually develop
- Strong personal commitment to safety
The salary for this position ranges from $23.75 to $29.40 per hour, depending on your academic profile, the number of credits earned, and your previous co-op or internship experience.
