At GIRO, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about security program compliance management, controls management and their application in a software development company. Your internship will be supervised by GIRO’s Chief Security Officer.During your security internship at GIRO, you will have the opportunity to collaborate on activities related to the governance of the organization’s security program, such as :

  • Participate in maintaining the internal safety control framework.
  • Follow-up on evidence to be provided for internal security audits aimed at SOC2 and ISO27001 certification.
  • Contribute to the drafting of procedures, guides and other safety documentation.
  • Attend meetings with the head of security to better understand security governance mechanisms.

At the end of the internship, you will have a better understanding of security governance practices. There will be an opportunity to carry out an independent security study or analysis, the deliverable of which will be required at the end of the internship.Qualifications

  • You’re in the final semester of a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, or you’ve started a master’s degree in cybersecurity and already have some experience in the field.
  • You’re passionate about security and interested in software development.
  • You are able to contextualize safety requirements in our business context.
  • You are known for your rigor and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You enjoy teamwork and working in a collaborative environment.
  • You demonstrate autonomy and initiative, particularly in managing your activities.
  • You have the ability to develop interpersonal relations with your internal clientele.
  • You are comfortable writing technical documentation in French.
