Location:  Project located within Ontario (rental accommodation covered by company.) Head office located in Peterborough.
Required education and experience:
  • Current enrollment in Civil Engineering / Construction Engineering program at an accredited post-secondary institution, and returning to full-time studies after the work term.
  • Personal vehicle required.
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Job Summary:
As a Jr. Project Coordinator, you will work closely with the project manager and project superintendent to support project progress according to set schedule, budget and quality standards. Work is performed on site, in the project yard and in site trailers.

Responsibilities:
  • Tracking project progress against budget, technical specifications and schedule
  • Track and update inventory lists
  • Material, tools and supplies ordering; follow up on orders and coordinate deliveries
  • Assist with preparations of various reports and calculations
  • Read and interpret drawings / contracts
  • Assist with purchasing site supplies / purchase orders
  • Support on-site measuring
  • Assist through quality inspections and testings
  • Participate in project meetings
  • Follow up with clients and subcontractors and assist with supporting documentation maintenance
  • Support Project manager and Superintendent as required
