First Capital Summer Intern Program gives young professionals access to enriching opportunities to start and accelerate their careers. Our program is uniquely hands-on, allowing Interns to work alongside our leaders on exciting new projects and strategies. Real Estate Services (RES) Data & Analytics Intern, you will report to the RES Analyst, and you will provide support to the team with respect to transactional data entry, preparation of leasing documentation, performance reports, marketing materials, and overall analysis for various properties and special projects.       
 
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Provide general leasing and data entry support (VTS Real Estate Platform & Monday.com).
  • Assist in managing high-volume inbound leads, including performing data entry to maintain accurate records, and communicating with leads.
  • Support the project launch of Budget the Space in 2025 and assisting with deal workflow requirements and related project needs.
  • Assist with two rounds of the Leasing Budget & Forecast during the summer.
  • Perform various reporting tasks, including conducting tenant reviews, tracking possession and renewal statuses, and generating additional reports as needed.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives and take on other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU BRING:
 
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program, preferably in Real Estate, Commerce, Business, or Finance.
  • Demonstrated interest in developing a career within commercial real estate.
  • You have strong analytical skills with the ability to gather information, synthesize it, and ‘connect-the-dots.
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate across all levels both within and outside of First Capital.
  • You demonstrate outstanding organizational capabilities and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. 
  • As a self-starter, you have a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment and are eager to grow your exposure to new technology and processes, taking any opportunity to acquire new skills.
  • You have strong computer skills, including an excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge/experience with VTS, Monday.com or Power BI is great to have!

OUR APPLICATION PROCESS:
 
Our Summer Internships/Co-Ops are four-month, paid, in-person opportunities commencing on May 5, 2025, and concluding on August 22, 2025. Interns must be available on a full-time basis for the entire duration of the program.
 
Please note that the application deadline is February 7, 2025, at 5 P.M. EST. No applications will be accepted after this deadline, without exception. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and only selected candidates will be invited for interviews with our team.
