Job Summary

As the Manufacturing Engineering Assistant Co-op, reporting to the Director – MES Operations, you will use your knowledge and interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills to assist the Manufacturing Engineering Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about manufacturing engineering to gain valuable experience in a manufacturing environment.

Work Term Arrangement

Onsite, 5 days per week (Mon – Fri)

Fall 2025

Location: 90 Belfield Rd., Etobicoke, ON

Responsibilities

• Work on plant layout updates and preparation of work instructions.
• Assist in CAPEX projects with Project/Manufacturing Engineers.
• Conduct process studies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to create and improve fixtures.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a registered post-secondary co-op program in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• Available for a 4-month Fall Co-op Work Term.
• Good understanding of VBA & Python.
• Some CAD experience in Solid Edge, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD.
• Some experience working with machines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
