Role Description

This is a part-time Junior Business Analyst Co-op role with a remote working environment, open to candidates located anywhere in Ontario. The role involves assisting the ZSAP Tech team with day-to-day business analysis tasks. Responsibilities include analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and communicating with stakeholders to support software development projects.

 

Position Responsibilities

• Engage in creative, solution-driven work while developing a deep understanding of how organizational transformations influence business outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with team members to evaluate, address, and respond to evolving analytical needs.
• Contribute to driving strategic initiatives by representing the team in cross-functional efforts: identify challenges, escalate issues as needed, and propose solutions to keep priorities on track.
• Regularly conduct research and analysis of industry trends, market positioning, or competitor activities relevant to specific segments or functions, supporting the broader team strategy.
• Assist in rolling out a strategic planning framework and processes that encourage meaningful discussions, informed decision-making, and purposeful planning among leaders.
• Champion strong collaboration among stakeholders and decision-makers to foster efficient and successful project delivery.

 

Qualifications

• Analytical Skills, Business Analysis, and Communication skills
• Ability to understand and document Business Processes
• Skills in identifying and analyzing Business Requirements
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with software development lifecycle is a plus
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and tools
• Enrolled in a relevant degree program such as Business Administration or Information Technology

Hours & Schedule:

• Monday to Friday (20 hours per week, day shift)
• 4-month term
