We advocate for our employees to speak-up, learn, experiment, share, and be part of an where diversity is embraced.ABOUT YOUR ROLEAs an Intern, Strategic Asset Allocation, you’ll participate in one or more of the following projects:Testing and implementation of a new economic scenario generatorDevelopment of an internal system to determine the long-term capital markets assumptionsReview of the value-added objectives for private marketsOther duties, as assignedWHAT YOU’LL NEEDCurrently in a Master Degree program (Finance, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Financial Engineering)High academic achievementProfessional certification (completion or in pursuit of CFA, FRM, ASA/FSA or similar certification) an asset.Strong mathematic and analytical skillsThorough understanding of finance theory and quantitative techniques applied to portfolio construction and risk managementStrong statistical programming software applications skillsKnowledge of Python in particular is an assetGood understanding of stochastic asset modelsMust return to studies after the internship or the internship must be part of your curriculumProficiency in English and French (or willingness to learn) *Frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa.Candidates must have the right to work in Canada* for the period specified to be considered for this position.
