Job Description
As an Intern Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be part of the Acumatica research and development team that collaborates and creates large-scale, production-grade cloud-based ERP, CRM, and other web applications using Microsoft technologies (.NET, C#, MS Sql Server) for businesses around the world. We are hiring an intern Quality Assurance Engineer for the summer internship. This is a 4-month contract, 40 hours a week. You will work closely with the quality assurance team from our Montreal office. We are located in the WeWork building (1010 Rue Sainte-Catherine O., Ste #200, Montréal, QC H3B 5L1).
Responsibilities:
- Help the team participating in Test Designing, Test Case preparation and Test Data creation.
- Manual testing of new features.
- Test coverage analysis and improvement.
- Developing new automated tests.
- Automated regression test execution, results analysis/support.
- Issue analysis and reporting.

Technologies, tools and environment, we use:
- Automation Tools – Selenium WebDriver, С#.
- Source control system – GIT/STASH/BAMBOO;
- Bug tracking system – JIRA;
- Database management tools – MS SQL/MySQL.
Qualifications
- You are studying and you are enrolled in the Co-op program, you have accumulated the specific number of course credits and you are eligible to register for the Engineering internship program or Science internship program (depending on the University you are studying).
- You have knowledge of Selenium webdriver, C#.
- Knowledge of version control systems (preferably Git).
- You have strong knowledge of the principles, patterns, and design of complex software systems, and the ability to apply them in practice.
- You’re passionate about writing things that are “elegant and efficient” – things that are robust, scalable, and that perform well.
- Your personal software practices ensure you deliver high quality even under pressure.
- You enjoy collaborating with, learning from, and teaching others (including across disciplines) so we all become better.
