Public Markets Solutions handles all the solutions for Public Markets Front-Office (Global Alpha, Beta Management), Public Markets Back-Office (Investment Operations), Public Markets Risk & Valuation and Investment Compliance. We are focused on value-creation via efficiently designing, planning and delivering the appropriate scalable digital business solutions within PSP’s operating model.ABOUT YOUR ROLEAs an Intern, Public Markets Solutions, you’ll:Participate in the support, maintenance, and enhancement of existing Public Markets solutionsParticipate in the transaction lifecycle support including the order creation, execution and settlementSupport team members in the gathering of new requirements, functional specifications and in the implementation and testing of new toolsAssist in maintaining proper documentation of operational and technical proceduresWHAT YOU’LL NEEDEnrolled in a Bachelor in Finance, computer science, information technology or equivalentAcademic knowledge of financial products and/or of public markets investments is a strong assetProgramming skills and SQL knowledge is a strong assetCustomer focused and results driven.Ability to work collaboratively, cultivating meaningful relationships with colleagues and clientsAbility to thrive in a rapidly changing environment and adapt to changeBilingualism required (fluency in French and English)Must return to studies after the internship or the internship must be part of your curriculumProficiency in English and French (or willingness to learn) (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)Candidates must have the right to work in Canada* for the period specified to be considered for this position.
