Public Markets Solutions handles all the solutions for Public Markets Front-Office (Global Alpha, Beta Management), Public Markets Back-Office (Investment Operations), Public Markets Risk & Valuation and Investment Compliance. We are focused on value-creation via efficiently designing, planning and delivering the appropriate scalable digital business solutions within PSP’s operating model.ABOUT YOUR ROLEAs an Intern, Public Markets Operations, you’ll:Participate in the support, maintenance, and enhancement of existing Public Markets solutions through debugging and fixing errors, resolving data quality and consistency issues and improving solutions performanceSupport team members in the development, testing, and deployment of new solutions for Public MarketsParticipate in improving the user experience and security of the solutions by implementing new features and enhancementsWrite technical documentation that will allow a better follow-up of the system developmentsCollaborate and share ideas with other developers, analysts, and stakeholders while adhering to standards and best practicesWHAT YOU’LL NEEDCurrently finishing a bachelor’s degree or enrolled in a master’s program in information technology, computer science, finance, or equivalentC# And Typescript and | or Angular programming skillsGood experience and knowledge of code optimisation and SQLExperience in the financial investment industry and knowledge of public markets investments is an asset.Customer focused and results driven.Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment and adapt to change.Must return to studies after the internship or the internship must be part of your curriculum.Proficiency in English and French (or willingness to learn) (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)Candidates must have the right to work in Canada* for the period specified to be considered for this position.
