Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. (PCL) is looking for a dynamic Finance Intern to join our team this June for a 6-month term. The ideal candidate will be self-driven and will support multiple finance-related tasks, contribute to process improvements and approach special projects with an innovative mindset.Join our team for a hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of automotive import operations, grow your professional network by collaborating with various departments within the company, and enhance your skills in a supportive and innovative environment.What You’ll Do:
- Assist with daily finance tasks including controlling, reporting, and month-end activities.
- Create templates that streamline reporting and improve efficiency.
- Be a key contact for finance inquiries from Porsche Centres and vendors.
- Support the analysis of strategic initiatives and innovation projects.
- Assist with internal controls testing and ad-hoc projects as needed.
- Actively identify and implement process improvement opportunities for automation to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain updates and change logs for finance workflows.
- Process invoices, create purchase requisitions, and maintain workflow updates.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including documenting meeting minutes, as well as ad-hoc administrative duties as required.

(Job and Industry):
- Experience in a corporate business environment.
- Experience utilizing digital technologies and process automation for data analysis.
- Prior relevant internship or work experience in an automotive subsidiary is considered an asset.
Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office 365 Apps (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Experience with VBA and Office Scripts is highly valued.
- Experience with Power Automate and/or equivalent digital tools an asset.
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy of all work.
- Exemplary organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration.
