The Finance Intern (Onsite at our St Thomas, ON office)Come build the future with us!   • Registered as part of the co-op program at an Ontario-accredited University, preferably in the final year.
  • Multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated project and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • High degree of initiative and motivation, and willingness to work proactively, either independently or within a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, & MS PowerPoint.
  • Computer savvy, able to quickly learn to use our internal software and tools.

What You Will Do?

  • Accounts Receivable:
  • Provide support by analyzing customer aged invoices.
  • Uploading invoice dispute packages and downloading files via customer online portals.
  • Rebate Management:
  • Assist with the development and launch of a new reporting tool to simplify rebate allowances and bring better cross-functional visibility across the organization.
  • Provide back-up support on customer rebate payments.
  • Month End Reporting:
  • Provide support and assist the Finance Team with month-end closing duties, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support the Finance team with the execution of various projects.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Help develop and improve processes for customer deductions and communications to cross-functional departments.
  • Develop and maintain other process improvements for the Finance team
