As a Finance Intern, you’ll work closely with our finance team, specifically focusing on accounts payable processes. Your tasks will include:

• Assisting with processing and reviewing invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
• Supporting the reconciliation of accounts payable and vendor statements.
• Helping with month-end closing procedures and preparing financial reports.
• Assisting in the preparation of payment runs and tracking payment statuses.
• Managing internal communications regarding payment inquiries from vendors and employees.
• Supporting the maintenance of accurate records and filing systems.
• Participating in finance-related projects, such as process improvements and cost analysis.

WHO YOU ARE
To succeed in this role, you bring:

• A passion for finance and an interest in accounts payable processes.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills in French & English, both written and verbal, as you will be interacting with colleagues across Canada (and internationally!).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Enrollment in or recent completion of a Finance, Accounting, or related program is a plus.
