About the Role
As the Executive Director International Student Recruitment, UCW, you will lead and develop a
team while driving strategic growth through B2B partnerships, agent networks, and institutional
collaborations, with a strong focus on Canada. Your role will be pivotal in increasing revenues and
ensuring sustainable growth in a competitive market.
In this role, you will optimize team productivity, enhance agent and partner relationships, and
maximize student recruitment efforts to meet ambitious targets. You will develop market-speciic
strategies to strengthen B2B and partner engagement, ensuring alignment with institutional
objectives and long-term success.

Key Activities & Responsibilities
• Strategy Development: Collaborate in designing the speciic commercial strategy for
international student recruitment, ensuring its successful communication and implementation.
• Partner Development: Build and manage relationships with recruitment agents, corporate
partners, and educational institutions to drive student enrollment.
• Growth Leadership: Develop and execute business strategies to deliver growth in accordance
with strategic plans.
• Performance Interventions: Formulate and implement interventions to sustain performance
and capitalize on new business opportunities.
• Commercial Guidance: Guide and direct commercial activities across the brand to maximise
the potential of products and services, supporting delivery against KPIs and targets.
• Leadership: Lead by example, representing UCW and its partners in the best light at all times.
• Senior Collaboration: Attend monthly meetings with other senior members of the business to
align strategies and initiatives.
• Team Management: Manage a team of Business Development Managers, and Regional
Directors, increasing the presence of UCW and its partner brands in targeted regions.
• New Business Development: Drive new business development, monitor, and evaluate
emerging business opportunities.
• Recruitment Oversight: Oversee aspects of recruitment and selection for the student
recruitment department.
• Industry Engagement: Attend industry events and conferences to generate new business
leads.
• Performance Reporting: Track, analyze, and report performance, ensuring recruitment efforts
align with strategic growth targets.
Experience and Qualifications
• Proven experience in international student recruitment, agent management, and B2B
partnerships, particularly within the Canadian higher education sector.
• Expertise in developing and managing relationships with education agents, corporate partners,
and institutional stakeholders.
• Previous experience in telephone and face-to-face consultative roles.
• Successful management of large recruitment teams
• Proven track record of achieving targets and driving growth in student recruitment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire recruitment teams.
• Previous experience working in a culturally diverse environment within a global organisation.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including presentations.
• High level of computer literacy, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations,
databases, and the internet.
• Excellent project management, logistics, and customer relations skills.
• Highly numerate with strong financial analysis, forecasting, project costing, and budgeting
skills.
