Development Intern
Description & RequirementsWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Development Intern to join our growing Workforce Management organization. Infor Workforce Management is a powerful scheduling solution that focuses on employee scheduling, and time and attendance tracking, serving a Fortune 500 client portfolio.This position will be joining a dynamic, fast-paced, cross-functional team composed of business analysts, developers, architects, product owners and quality assurance analysts delivering a portfolio of world-class products. We offer an Agile environment in which you can work on challenging problems that that will keep you engaged and learning all the time.A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Working as part of a dynamic Agile team to develop and deliver our enterprise scheduling solution.
- Working on technically challenging problems.
- Learning functional and technical details of the product.
- Improving software performance, scalability, stability and usability.
- Technically reviewing the work of other team members.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with designing and building software.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java or C++.
- Knowledge of SQL and understanding databases.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Java development experience, including knowledge of JSPs, Servlets, JDBC, Spring Framework.
- Experience with web application development.
- Experience with frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Knowledge of relational database concepts.
- Experience with application servers: BEA Web logic, IBM Web Sphere, JBoss.
- Experience with tools like Ant, Maven, SonarQube, TeamCity.
- Experience with TDD and Unit testing.
