In this role, you will:

Be involved in IT strategy, developing innovative approaches for delivering high-quality, value-added, and efficient services and products that meet business needs. This includes:

• Developing processes, procedures, and automated reports to assist management in decision-making.
• Setting standards, creating guidelines, and participating in workshops.
• Providing process and tool support to colleagues.
• Participating in planning and coordinating project activities, offering technical guidance, monitoring progress, troubleshooting, and reporting to management with recommendations.
• Assisting in creating reports using tools like Power BI for dashboards and Power Apps for data collection and management.

(Note: You will not be involved in hands-on infrastructure management, configuration, design, or security; knowledge in these areas is minimal.)

What we are looking for:

General Knowledge:

• Experience with server operating systems (Windows, UNIX, Linux), storage, network topologies, configurations, database technologies, security (e.g., authentication), development tools, and programming languages.
• Understanding of security, privacy, and their relation to infrastructure (data centre, network, architecture).
• Knowledge of systems development standards and best practices.
• Familiarity with programming languages, especially Java.
• Ability to debug applications and contribute to fixes.
• Experience with systems analysis tools to capture business needs.
• Knowledge of the system development life cycle (SDLC).
• Understanding of personal computing and n-tier environments.
• Familiarity with architecture principles, frameworks, and practices.
• Knowledge of business and information architectures.
• Understanding of Change Management principles.
• Familiarity with data centre, network, and application architectures.
• Strong problem-solving skills for analyzing client programs, services, and business objectives.

Communication Skills:

• Ability to draft correspondence, reports, and presentations clearly and concisely.

Teamwork Skills:

• Ability to establish effective working relationships, participate in committees and projects, and work flexibly within a team.

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, SharePoint).
