Co-op Student – Environmental and Asset Integrity

Baytex Energy Corp. (the “Company” or “Baytex”), is a public company based in Calgary, Alberta engaged in the acquisition, development, and production of crude oil and natural gas in Western Canada and the United States. Co-op Student: Environmental and Asset Integrity
Work with the environmental team on the following:
General support for Environmental Coordinators as they execute their Reclamation Programs.
Support internal continuous improvement initiatives (data gathering, software upgrades etc.)
Manage special environmental projects (inactive inventory research, HSE Manual updates etc.).
Work with stakeholders and regulators to promote Baytex’s interests in relation to our regulatory and environmental programs.

Work with the Asset Integrity team on the following:
~ Physical records management, database entries and validations

Enrolled in a degree or technical diploma program in a related discipline is desired.
Must have a working understanding of the standard suite of Microsoft software.
Excel skills are an asset, especially exceptional skills in Logic, Text, Lookup & Reference formulas.
Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
