Backend Developer Intern, Summer 2025

We’re looking for people energized by backend development to contribute to the following teams: 

• The Platform Engineering – CI/CD team : You will develop deployment tools to improve day-to-day efficiency of other development teams, in adopting a DevOps mindset.

What your typical day would look like:

• You start your day off with a team meeting (scrum) to track the progress on the team’s different projects and elevate each other by sharing innovative ideas.
• Take ownership of your current projects, start your day with some coding!
• You then jump on a Zoom call to shadow the work your coach is doing, asking questions and learning from their approach. 
• As you’re eager to be given more responsibilities, you make sure to test your code like a pro for it to deliver tangible value. Get ready to cross collaborate between different teams internally, this role will have you working with multiple developers. 
• After lunch your priorities shift, and along with your coach you begin on a project to contribute to improving our monitoring, security and infrastructure!
• The day is coming to an end! You take some time to review the feedback you received from your latest code review and understand how you can improve for next time.

Here’s what will qualify you for the role: 

• You are currently enrolled in a Software Engineering or Computer Science program.
• You have completed an internship in a similar role. 
• You have experience in : Python, Github Actions, Terraform, DevOps, CI/CD, Go.
• You have a strong sense of ownership and are proud of what you create.
• You strive to grow, you aren’t afraid to ask questions to strengthen your understanding.

And the cherry on top that will make you stand out: 

• You’re always looking for new challenges; you often participate in hackathons!
• You have great organizational and time management skills.

You don’t need to check every single box; passion goes a long way and we appreciate that skills are transferable.
