Job SummaryThe Fall Intern for Non-Financial Risk Appetite and Stress Testing will help manage the development, maintenance and implementation of both the Non-Financial Risk Appetite Program and Stress Testing Programs.Job DescriptionWhat is the Opportunity?The GRM Operational Risk Shared Services Team is responsible for development, maintenance and monitoring effectiveness of the Operational Risk Management (ORM) Program, including the underpinning practices and methodologies.The Fall Intern for Non-Financial Risk Appetite and Stress Testing will help manage the development, maintenance and implementation of both the Non-Financial Risk Appetite Program and Stress Testing Programs.What will you do?

  • Help development the framework, methodologies and implementation of the risk appetite program across all risk types within Operational Risk.
  • Help develop and execute stress testing programs across the organization such as ICAAP, EWST, CCAR, etc.
  • Work closely with 1LOD and 2LOD stakeholders to ensure implementation activities can be completed as planned in the context of their operating model and environment.
  • Collaborate with 2LOD stakeholders to ensure coordination and consistency in the application NF Risk Appetite and Stress Testing practices.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to enable active and collaborative working relationships.
  • Work collaboratively across teams, enabling an engaged workforce who are effective, knowledgeable and adaptable.
  • Support the vision, strategy, mandate and operating model for the unit.
  • Contribute to strategy, culture and activities to enable the team to operate as an integrated organization and execute effectively.
  • Support behaviors that embed a strong risk management culture across all 3 lines of defense.
  • Actively support business partners such as the A&O and CoG communities in implementing operational risk management practices in a manner that aligns with strategic objectives.

What do you need to succeed?Must-have

  • Working towards a business-related university degree
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team and possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate interest in Risk Management, and/or Operational Risk
  • Ability to take initiative and problem solve.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Data Analytics, Data Modelling and Reporting
  • Strong Analytical skills

Please note: This posting is for a 4-months Fall 2025 Student placement with a start date of September 2025, and end date of December 2025. In order to be eligible for this 4-months Student position, you must either:

  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of December2025 ; or
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in December2025), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
