This paid 10-12-week internship offers hands-on experience in a corporate sales environment, where you will gain exposure to sales strategies, customer engagement, business development, market research, and sales operations. As a Sales Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, collaborate with experienced sales professionals, and develop essential skills to thrive in a competitive business landscape.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the sales team with current projects and initiatives.
- Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities.
- Assist in lead generation, prospect outreach, and customer relationship management.
- Analyze sales data and prepare reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Participate in sales calls, meetings, and presentations to gain hands-on experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sales and marketing efforts.
- Assist in the preparation of sales materials, proposals, and presentations.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program (Business, Marketing, Sales, Electrical Engineering preferred).
- You must be able to report into the Bolton, ON office and travel as needed throughout the Greater Toronto area for occasional meetings and events.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think independently, manage relationships, and pay attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools (preferred).
- A solid academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Availability to work 10-12 weeks from May through end of August
