As a Content & Social Media Intern at iON, you will play a key role in executing marketing initiatives that enhance our brand presence and support our sales teams. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager – Brand & Digital to develop and maintain marketing and sales collateral, manage social media channels, and create compelling content that aligns with our brand strategy. Internship would run from May 1 – August 31, 2025.

Key Responsibilities

• Update and maintain internal and external sales and marketing collateral, ensuring consistency with our brand identity.
• Manage and schedule content across iON’s social media platforms, engaging with our audience and monitoring trends.
• Write and edit blog posts, website content, email campaigns, and other marketing materials.
• Support campaign execution, including content creation, email marketing, and performance tracking.
• Assist in the development of presentations and proposals for sales and business development teams.
• Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and communications.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to execute marketing projects effectively.
• Monitor and report on key marketing metrics to measure success and inform future strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated completed a post-secondary program in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging and informative content. 
• Experience with social media management tools and platforms (LinkedIn, X, etc.). 
• Proficiency in design tools such as Canva or similar.
•  Experience working in HubSpot Marketing Hub is an asset.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing, including email marketing, SEO, and analytics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment on a lean team.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
