This 5-person team focuses on the accurate and timely financial reporting for subsidiaries. More specifically, the team is responsible for:Regulatory and compliance reporting: Preparing and filing all required reports for subsidiaries, including those for tax authorities and regulators.Ad hoc requests: Responding to ad hoc requests for financial information from internal and external stakeholders, such as management, banks and legal counsel.Data Analysis and insights: Analyzing financial data to identify risks and opportunities for improvement within subsidiaries.ABOUT YOUR ROLEAs an Intern, Investment Finance, Transversal Initiatives and Subsidiaries, you’ll:Assist in the preparation of financial statementsAssist in the preparation of regular reports on key performance indicators, financial results in and other metricsConduct research on industries and sectors for investment related questionsGather data from various sources and accurately entering it into reportsOrganize and maintain electronic filesAssist in reconciliationsWHAT YOU’LL NEEDEnrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or AccountingAbility to navigate a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomyAttention to detail and accuracy as well as a rigorous approach to research, analysis and documentationAbility to work collaboratively, cultivating meaningful relationships with colleagues and clientsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong work ethic and willingness to learnProficiency in excel and other data analysis toolsMust return to studies after the internship or the internship must be part of your curriculumProficiency in English and French (or willingness to learn) (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)Candidates must have the right to work in Canada* for the period specified to be considered for this position.
