University Co-Op Student-Corporate Standards – 16 Months – Summer 2025

General Accountabilities:

  1. Support the successful management and development of corporate standards.
  2. Develop and update reports to communicate the status of standards development projects.
  3. Perform a variety of duties, including record keeping, responding to stakeholder inquiries, and providing general support.
  4. Monitor, on a monthly basis, the progress status of inflight work, identifying any variances.
  5. Collect data to support analysis.
  6. Assist in discussions, problem solving and issue resolution regarding process changes, implementation and ongoing work.
  7. Maintain Corporate Standards SharePoint site.
  8. Other duties as required.
  9. Requires knowledge of office principles and Microsoft Office programs to perform data collection and input activities and file maintenance.
  10. Requires proficient knowledge of English including written and verbal communication skills to prepare written correspondence, assist in discussions, and interact with stakeholders.
  11. Knowledge of programming and databases considered an asset.
  12. Understanding of business analysis techniques considered an asset.
  13. This knowledge is normally acquired through the successful completion of Grade XII and first or second year university.
  14. Ongoing studies in the field of business, economics, engineering or computer science.
  15. Previous office experience.

Hydro One requires that all students applying for student opportunities be enrolled in post-secondary level studies and be returning to full-time studies upon the completion of their work term.
