The department analyzes complex firm-wide data and develops narratives and visuals to support the “storytelling” and the decision-making process. The team works closely with the business to understand key drivers of financial performance and steer the results.ABOUT YOUR ROLEAs an Intern reporting to the Director FP&A, you will:Analyze monthly and quarterly results and document variances, trends vs projections and vs previous periods’ resultsContribute to financial analysis presentation to provide quarterly updates to the different groupsEnsure monthly update of different reporting templates and models, including data validationCollaborate to the enhancement of our financial projection models, by identifying and leveraging drivers between groups and cost typesPerforms other financial planning and analysis tasks as requiredWHAT YOU’LL NEEDEnrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering or Data analyticsAbility to navigate a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomyAttention to detail and rigorous approach to research, analysis and documentationAbility to work in a team and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the companyProficiency in English and French (or willingness to learn) (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)Expertise in Microsoft applications, especially Excel and Power pointMust return to studies after the internship or the internship must be part of your curriculumAt PSP, we aim to provide an inclusive workplace where we leverage diversity and where everyone feels valued, safe, respected and empowered to grow.
