Talent Acquisition Intern
As a Talent Acquisition Intern, you will actively support BPA’s recruitment activities by working closely with our Talent team.
This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to the full recruitment cycle within a growing engineering firm, while developing practical skills in sourcing, candidate engagement, and recruitment coordination.
You will contribute directly to attracting top talent and supporting recruitment initiatives across our offices in Canada.
Within our HR team, the Talent function plays a key strategic role in supporting BPA’s national growth.
You will join a collaborative and dynamic team composed of Marc-André Lacroix, Juliette Blain, Mylène Barrette, Rim Chetaibi and Jonathan Dubé. Together, the Talent team partners closely with leaders across Canada to build high-performing teams and support the organization’s continued growth.
This internship will allow you to actively participate in recruitment projects and contribute to strengthening BPA’s employer presence in the market.
Key responsibilities
Support the Talent team throughout the recruitment process:
Assist in analyzing recruitment needs with the Talent team
Conduct candidate sourcing on various platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, internal databases)
Identify and approach potential candidates through outreach and networking
Conduct initial candidate phone screenings
Assist with candidate pre-selection and resume review
Contribute to drafting and posting job advertisements
Help coordinate interviews and candidate follow-ups
Support administrative aspects of the hiring process
Participate in campus recruitment initiatives and early talent programs
Assist with maintaining recruitment databases and tracking tools
Contribute to projects related to employer branding and recruitment process improvements
Profile we are looking for
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or a related field
Strong interest in recruitment and talent acquisition
Excellent communication skills and comfortable speaking with candidates
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Proactive mindset, curiosity and initiative
Bilingualism (French and English)*
Interest in professional services or the engineering sector is an asset
*English is essential due to the shared service and to maintain an acceptable ratio among the incumbents of certain positions in order to ensure effective coordination and service offering within the organization.
